IETE
was established with the aim to service the ferrous and non-ferrous metals
manufacturing industries in South Africa by means of representing some of
the world’s best-known equipment and technology providers and
manufacturers. At IETE we strongly believe in the strength and experience
of our people to source proven products. We are therefore very careful in
selecting partners, which have a strong interest in the interests and
bottom line of our customers. With a combined 35 years of experience in the
industry, the management of IETE thus have a track record that speaks for
itself when it comes to rendering world class service to the South African
metals manufacturing industry.

IETE
was established in 1989 by it’s founder Mr. John Harris-Webster and set up offices in
Vereeniging in close proximity to Iscor. Occupying 350 square meters our
offices house engineering, sales, administration, technology sourcing,
procurement, project management, technical, maintenance and financial
support as well as shipping and clearing services.

has a reputation for quality and well-engineered products.

PERSONNEL

has a total of 15 fulltime employees involved in varied specialized
engineering disciplines, requiring the responsible participation of all
employees.

PHILOSOPHY
AND SUPPORT
|

Pre-order
tendering is managed by our experienced sales team who liaise with the
company’s engineering and manufacturing resources to offer the customer an
effective solution to their problems, as well as effective after sales
service.

|
|
For
contracts the company operates on a Project Management basis. A Project
Manager being assigned to a contract upon placement of order. The Project
Manager becomes the focus of all communication between the Customer and
Company. He has the responsibility to manage the contract through to
delivery.

|
|
Industrial
Equipment Technology and Engineering (Pty) Ltd.’s
customer support is directed through the sales team, until acceptance is
achieved. Through the warranty period and onwards the equipment is
supported through our experienced sales service team who controls all
aspects of liaison with the customer, which includes the establishment of
maintenance contracts.
